Phentermine.
Phentermine is an anti-obesity medicine that will work well for you if you have been diagnosed with obesity. It's very important to take phentermine exactly as recommended and avoid taking it for longer than prescribed. Phentermine is supposed to be taken for up to 6 weeks, although your personal period of treatment depends on how your body responds to the treatment. You are supposed to inform you health care provider of the fact of taking any of the following medications at the moment of starting the treatment: guanethidine, high blood pressure meds, guanadrel, oral insulin or diabetes medication, or antidepressants. Phentermine is never supposed to be combined with such MAO inhibitors as isocarboxazid, tranylcypromine, phenelzine, rasagiline, and selegiline, as very dangerous reactions are possible as a result. Phentermine is usually well tolerated, but some mild side effects are possible at the beginning of your treatment. The following side effects are considered to be mild and there is no need to report them to your health care provider: vomiting, diarrhea, unpleasant taste, dry mouth, and constipation, although some other ones are also possible and they may vary in intensity.
